Overview
The aim of the Formula One Maths series is to ensure that pupils progress well throughout Key Stage 3, and build upon the skills they have already acquired. The B1 books are specially designed for use in year 8: pupils revisit Level 4 topics and cover all the material in the National Numeracy Strategy's Framework for Teaching Mathematics for Level 5; each double-page spread in the Pupil's Book is designed to cover one lesson, and follows the structure of a Numeracy Lesson. Teachers' Resource B1 is specially designed to accompany Pupil's Book B1, and comprises of support and guidance for the teacher as well as photocopiable resources for use in class.
